" Ternyata sekali lagi Allah SWT menunjukkan kebesaran-Nya, kaki yang dipotong dan tubuh santri tahfiz yang punya cita-cita jadi hafiz saat masuk Madrasah Tahfiz Al Jauhar, Kota Tinggi, Johor ini tidak membusuk atau berbau biarpun sudah hampir sebulan jenazahnya dimakamkan," ujar salah satu kerabat, Mas Arip, dikutip dari Sinar Harian, Minggu, 21 Mei 2017.

" Keadaannya seolah-olah seperti baru dimakamkan semalam," ujar dia melanjutkan.
Mas Arip mengaku dia bersama ayah mertuanya, Ahmad Motai, mewakili pihak keluarga menjadi saksi pembongkaran makam oleh polisi dan petugas forensik. Dia pun mengatakan petugas sampai takjub saat mengambil sampel kaki Mohamad Thaqif.
" Pihak forensik yang mengambil sampel dari kaki yang dipotong itu turut mengagumi kondisi jenazah yang tidak membusuk bahkan cukup istimewa karena Allah menunjukkan kebesaran-Nya di hadapan mereka yang masih hidup," kata Mas Arip.
